Press Brake Lead

We are looking for an experienced and driven Press Brake Lead to join our  production team. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise in press brake operation with team coordination and mentorship. You'll play a key role in shaping the productivity and precision of our fabrication floor.

Ideal candidates are skilled fabricators who lead by example, maintain high quality standards, and enjoy developing the capabilities of those around them.

 Responsibilities

Lead by Example

• Set up and operate press brake machines to accurately bend and form sheet metal parts.
• Mentor and support operators, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

Own the Setup

• Interpret detailed blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
• Program and fine-tune machine settings based on material type, thickness, and design tolerances.

Ensure Quality

• Inspect parts during and after production using precision tools (calipers, protractors, gauges, etc.).
• Maintain consistency, accuracy, and compliance with engineering requirements.

Optimize Operations

• Identify and resolve equipment or process issues to improve productivity.
• Support continuous improvement by monitoring daily output and performance.

Coordinate Production

• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other departments to prioritize tasks and manage workflow.
• Assign work, manage resources, and track key shift metrics.

Promote Safety & Standards

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce compliance with all safety procedures and company policies.
