Equipment Operator

Equipment Operators support shipping, receiving, and storage operations within warehouses and distribution centers. This role involves the use of machinery such as stand-up/sit-down forklifts, stock chasers, and cherry pickers to transport goods efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Retrieve orders and transport materials or equipment within the facility.
• Move goods packed on pallets or in crates as directed.
• Load and unload parts and equipment from trailers, using equipment such as tractors, excavators, and RTVs when necessary.
• Stack goods in proper storage bays in line with inventory control guidelines.
• Ensure trucks are properly loaded and all materials are secured.
• Stack and organize empty pallets.
• Perform daily equipment checks, including battery charging and safety inspections.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all equipment in use.
• Uphold housekeeping standards throughout the shift.
• Inspect products to verify they meet quality standards.
